Aerating
Your gorgeous lawn - we promise!
We aerate lawns to reduce soil compaction, improve root growth, and enhance water and nutrient absorption.
What does it involve?
Aerating involves creating small holes in the soil to reduce compaction and help air, water, and nutrients reach grass roots more easily. It’s typically done using a machine that pulls out tiny soil plugs across the lawn. This process improves root growth, increases water absorption, reduces puddling, and promotes thicker, healthier grass.
How does it work?
Aeration works by using a machine to punch evenly spaced holes into the lawn and remove small plugs of soil. This opens up compacted ground, allowing oxygen to flow deeper, and helping water and nutrients soak down to the roots instead of sitting on the surface. The grass responds by growing stronger roots, filling in bare spots, and becoming thicker and healthier over time.
